2.25.21 Gather:Make:Shelter is having a collaborative exhibition, VALENTINE, opening on February 27th from 12-4. The exhibit runs from Feb 27- March 30, 2021. I donated a new collage piece for the exhibit titled, And Suddenly There It Was. The show features 100 tiny artworks for 100 tiny houses. The city of Portland is providing new tiny houses to residents experiencing houselessness and they will each get to choose a piece of art for their tiny house from the exhibit.


10.1.20 Blackfish Gallery in Portland, OR presents The Love Politik: One World, Indivisible group exhibition from October 1- November 28, 2020. My piece We III is part of this exhibition that celebrates love.


10.18.19 On October 24th I am honored have two installations up for one night at Cascadia Behaviorial Healthcare's fundraising event, heart. Cerebral Entities V, an installation about the DSM V and Nobody Really Knows, an interactive piece about trauma will be on display. Visit Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare to learn more about the event and purchase tickets.


9.5.19 One Grand Gallery is having an exhibition that is a benefit for RAICES. The piece We V is part of the exhibit along with many other local artists. Come out to support immigrants and refugees while seeing local art. The exhibition is up until September 30th.


7.1.19 I've moved to Portland, OR and I am looking forward to reconnecting with the art community here along with having more time in my studio.


12.2.17 The exhibition All Are Welcome Here opens at Greenly Art Space in Signal Hill, CA today and is up until December 16th. My piece We VIII will be on display.


9.15.17 Opening tomorrow night September 16th from 6-9pm will be the exhibition of the Brand Library & Art Center's 45 Annual National Juried Exhibition of Works on Paper located in Glendale, CA. The piece We VIII was chosen to be shown. The exhibition will run from September 16- November 3, 2017. The juror for the exhibition was Leslie Jones, curator of Prints and Drawings at LACMA.


8.5.2017 The piece We I was chosen by jurors Alessandra Moctezuma and Kara West for the La Jolla Athenaeum Music & Arts Library's 26th Annual Juried Exhibition. On opening night this piece received first prize! The exhibition includes work from 41 San Diego area artists and runs from August 5 to September 2, 2017.


1.15.17 Two of my bandage pieces from the We series have been juried by Ginger Shulick Porchella and Yevgeniya Mikhailik into the 2017 Juried Biennial at the William D. Cannon Art Gallery in Carlsbad, CA. The exhibit runs from Jan 21st to March 5th.


11.8.16 The piece We II has been accepted into the Southern California/Baja Biennial at the San Diego Art Institute, juried by Anthony Graham, Assistant Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. The exhibition opens on December 10th and is on view until January 29, 2017.


12.17.15 New American Paintings Pacific Coast Edition #121 came out today and I am pleased to be included with three of my paintings from my Solitary Night Reflections series. The juror, Nina Bozicnik, assistant curator at the Henry Art Gallery, Seattle wrote, "... the nighttime streetscapes of Kristina Bell DiTullo are unidentified, dislocating spaces of existential reflection. Isolated geometric shapes of illumination create an abstract composition across a black ground that edits out extemporaneous noise, and also positions the body in a dark void."


7.28.15 An article came out in San Diego City Beat about my work showing in the La Jolla Athenaeum Music & Arts Library's 24th Annual Juried Exhibition and (Con)text: Rethinking Language in Art at the San Diego Art Institute.


7.9.15 Three of my paintings from the Solitary Night Reflections series have been included in the La Jolla Athenaeum Music & Arts Library's 24th Annual Juried Exhibition juried by Robert Pincus, PhD and Tina Yapelli. The exhibition opens July 31st and is on view from August 1-29, 2015.


7.6.15 A new piece Lisa, age10 from my recently completed series Beaming with Happiness was accepted into the show (Con)text: Rethinking Language in Art at the San Diego Art Institute opening on July 25th.


6.29.15 The painting Solitary Night Reflections II was chosen to be included in Axis Gallery's 10th National Exhibition juried by Max Presneill  in Sacramento, CA. The exhibition runs from July 31- August 23, 2015.


12.5.14 Five of my new oil paintings in the series Solitary Night Reflections have been juried by Tina Yapelli and John D. Spiak into the 2014 Juried Biennial at the William D. Cannon Art Gallery in Carlsbad, CA. The exhibit runs from Dec 14, 2014 to Feb 7, 2015.


12.20.12 In one month the 2013 Juried Biennial at the William D. Cannon Art Gallery. Two of my bandage pieces from my Embrace/Reject series have been chosen for the exhibit by jurors Scott Canty and Chantel Paul.


4.12.12 The juror of the exhibit the 25th Annual McNeese Works on Paper, Lynn Gumpert, Director of New York University's Grey Art Gallery awarded me with the Juror's Mention Award.


3.29.12 Today the 25th Annual McNeese Works on Paper exhibition opened at McNeese University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Embrace/Reject IV and Embrace/Reject VII were chosen by juror Lynn Gumpert , director of the Grey Art Gallery at NYU. The exhibit runs from March 29- May 4, 2012.


1.22.12 The Bay Area Visual Arts Network has chosen to include my work in their 2012 Artist Registry.


1.3.12 I was interviewed by the San Francisco Art Enthusiast about my art and art therapy.


12.17.11 Today is the opening of Shine, the Berkeley Art Center's Artists Annual Exhibition. The show runs from December 17, 2011 to January 29, 2012 and features over 250 pieces of art by members. My new piece, Michael, Age 7 is on display.


8.20.11 Berkeley Art Center's Annual Juried Exhibition California! opens August 20th with a reception from 5-8pm. The exhibit runs from August 10- October 2, 2011. Embrace/Reject VII was chosen by the jurors Chandra Cerrito of Chandra Cerrito Contemporary and Svea Lin Soll of Swarm Gallery.


6.28.11 The Wiegand Gallery at Notre Dame de Namur Univeristy in Belmont, CA is showing Chaos Composed from July 1-31, 2011. The exhibit represents the work of students, faculty and alumni from NDNU's graduate Art Therapy program. I was chosen to be the featured artist and have seven bandage series pieces in the exhibit. The opening is July 1st from 7-11 pm.


5.27.11 Friesen Gallery, Sun Valley, ID has the opening reception for their summer group exhibition tomorrow, May 28th, which includes several of my bandage pieces.


2.9.11 Several blogs have featured my Bandage work this week- Design For Mankind, Junk Culture, Trend Hunter, and Zupi.


1.4.11 Opening January 21st Walking on Thin Ice is a group show at Ampersand International Arts, San Francisco. The exhibit runs from January 21- February 18, 2011. The opening reception is from 6-8:30 on January 21st. I will have several Bandage pieces in the show.


8.18.10 Opening September 1st the Trustman Gallery at Simmons College, Boston, MA will exhibit Pattern and Repetition, a four-person exhibition. Ten of of my bandage pieces will be on display. The show runs from September 1-30 with an opening reception on Tuesday, September 7th from 5-6:30 pm.


6.28.10 I've arrived in San Francisco, my new home!


5.6.10 Opening next Friday, May 14th at Mobius in Boston is the exhibit 6.7.8. The exhibit shows work by Sara June, Burns Maxey and myself, three alumni of the Rhode Island School of Design presenting a week-long interactive exhibition. Beginning May 14th and extending through May 20th we will exhibit and perform works that explore themes of conditioning, psychology, and fate via the use of robots, movement, balloons, video, photography, bandages and large gifts.


4.1.10 Three pieces from my Acts of Immobilization series will be part of the exhibition Violence Transformed 2010. The initial exhibition will be on display at the Massachusetts Statehouse in Doric Hall from April 26th to May 7th and the second exhibition will be at the Resnikoff Gallery at Roxbury Community College from May 10th to May 31st.


2.10.10 Opening March 3rd the exhibition Materiality at the ARC Gallery in Chicago will have two of my bandage pieces in the exhibit. The show runs from March 3-27 with an opening reception on March 5th from 6-9pm. The chosen pieces are Bandages: Pattern 2: CVS and Bandages: Pattern 3: Band Aid.


11.1.09 Opening today the exhibit Women In Art at Harlan Gallery, Seton Hill University, Greensburg, PA includes my piece Bandages: Pattern 3: Band Aid. The exhibit runs from November 1-22 with an opening reception on Sunday, November 1st and a symposium on November 22nd.


10.22.09 I have been accepted to participate in the Artist Professional Toolbox program run by the Arts and Business Council of Greater Boston.


10.8.09 The piece Bandages: Pattern 1: CVS was juried into the Member's Prize Show at the Kathryn Schultz Gallery of The Cambridge Art Association. The exhibit runs from October 9th-29th. The reception is on Saturday, October 17th from 12-2pm. The juror was Joseph D. Ketner II, the Henry and Lois Foster Chair in Contemporary Art, Emerson College, Boston.


9.9.09 My piece The Burbs III, will be shown in the Cambridge Art Association's Fall Salon from September 12-29, 2009. The opening reception will be on Wednesday, September 16, 6-8pm.


7.5.09 I will have the piece Bandages: Pattern 3: Band Aid, in the New Members Show of The Cambridge Art Association from July 10-29th. There will be an opening reception on July 16th from 6-8pm.


5.9.09 The Silvermine Guild Arts Center Gallery created videos of Douglas Dreishpoon, the curator of the juried show the 60th Annual Art of the Northeast, speaking about each piece he chose for the show. Click here to watch the video that includes my piece Bandages: Pattern 1: CVS. Dr. Dreishpoon states, "I love this idea. Someone has taken Band-Aids and made a minimalist construction out of them. It's creative, it's got imagination, it's very simple, very patternistic and has the requisite obsessive quality that I really like. I like people who are a little on the obsessive side, I don't know why. I think it produces a certain kind of intense work."


5.1.09 My piece Bandages: Pattern 1: CVS was accepted into the exhibit the 60th Art of the Northeast at the Silvermine Guild Arts Center Gallery, New Canaan, CT. The exhibit runs from May 8th- June 5th with a reception on Friday, May 8th 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The exhibit was juried by Douglas Dreishpoon, Chief Curator of the Albright-Knox Gallery, Buffalo, NY.

2.25.09 My piece Constant Mend 3 was accepted into the juried show Stratum at the Kathryn Schultz Gallery, Cambridge, MA. The exhibit runs from February 27- March 27 with a reception on Saturday, March 21 12:00-2:00. The exhibit was juried by Camilo Alvarez of Samson Projects, Boston.


11.5.08 My screenprint Above The Tracts I has been accepted into the show Blue, curated by Jen Mergel, Assistant Curator of The Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, MA. The opening will be held on Friday, November 21 from 6:00-8:00 at both the University Place Gallery and Kathryn Schultz Gallery, Cambridge, MA. My piece is shown in the University Place Gallery. The exhibit will be on display from November 15th - January 13th.


9.1.08 As of September 10th I will be calling Boston home. I look forward to exploring the exhibition opportunities on the East Coast!


4.29.08 Thursday, May 1st is the opening of Do North, a group exhibit of artists that live or work in N/NE Portland at the Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center in Portland, OR. The show will be up from May 1-24. I have two pieces in the show.


2.8.08 My video Suburban Satellites is one of the 12 videos that have been selected to be exhibited in the Walker Art Center's Worlds Away: New Suburban Landscapes on view from February 15- May 18, 2008. Here is the announcement about the winning videos.


1.13.08 My video Suburban Satellites has been posted on YouTube as an entry for the Walker Art Center's competition Tell Us A Story About The Suburbs. Chosen entries will be shown as part of the exhibit Worlds Away: New Suburban Landscapes on view from February 15-May 18, 2008.


9.21.07 Saturday, September 29th Construct/Re-Construct will open at Cathedral Park Place in St John's, North Portland. It is a group show of 25 Portland area artists who visually and/or conceptually express the building blocks that bring an idea to fruition and shows the artist in dialogue with his/her materials. The opening will be from 5-8 at 6635 N. Baltimore Ave. The gallery hours will be Fridays and Saturdays 12-5 with the show closing on October 27th. I have several paintings in the show.


6.19.07 One of my Constant Mend pieces received second place from James Rondeau, Curator Modern and Contemporary Art at The Art Institute of Chicago, during the ArtFutura 2007 juried show.


5.2.07 The Structures show in Hillsboro was written up in the Hillsboro Argus.


4.21.07 Three of my Constant Mend pieces have been accepted into a show in Chicago titled ArtFutura 2007. It is a show to benefit the art therapy program at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and the juror is James Rondeau, curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Art Institute of Chicago. The show will be on display in the Chicago Cultural Center in the Chicago rooms from May 18-27.


3.27.07 May 1st is the opening of the Structures group show at the Glenn & Viola Walters Arts Center in Hillsboro, OR. I will have several of my paintings in the show. The exhibit is on view from May 1- June 27.


2.3.07 Friday, February 2nd was the opening date of two group shows I am participating in. One of my paintings was chosen by curator Jacqueline Ehlis to be in "Do No Harm vs. Step Up" at the New American Art Union which was mentioned on the Portland Art Blog. I also submitted a mixed media piece for the second annual "On Love" show at Launchpad Gallery. Both shows will be up through early March.


2.1.07 Willamette Week Online mentions my work with bandages at Rake Gallery, Portland, OR in a review of January shows.


12.24.2006 Three of my mixed media pieces from the Constant Mend series have been accepted into Rake Gallery's group show, Works On Paper, opening January 4th, 2007.


11.26.2006 My paintings are currently on view at the Design Within Reach store in Bridgeport Village, Tigard, OR until the end of the year.  I will have a painting on view at the Broderick Gallery in Portland from Dec 1-7 with a reception on First Thursday Dec 7th from 5-9pm.  It is a group show of all the artists from this year's Portland Open Studios.
