5.9.09 The Silvermine Guild Arts Center Gallery created videos of Douglas Dreishpoon, the curator of the juried show the 60th Annual Art of the Northeast, speaking about each piece he chose for the show. Click here to watch the video that includes my piece Bandages: Pattern 1: CVS. Dr. Dreishpoon states, "I love this idea. Someone has taken Band-Aids and made a minimalist construction out of them. It's creative, it's got imagination, it's very simple, very patternistic and has the requisite obsessive quality that I really like. I like people who are a little on the obsessive side, I don't know why. I think it produces a certain kind of intense work."
